In Summer 2025, I worked in Bali as a surf photojournalist and freelance photographer for Solid Surf House, leading the rebrand of Soleia Surf Academy. My role combined documentary storytelling with research-driven content creation, capturing both surf culture and Balinese daily life—from markets and ceremonies to world-class breaks at Uluwatu and Canggu. For Soleia’s rebrand, I produced a 60-day beach mapping project, documenting the island’s top surf spots while studying swells, erosion, and coastal dynamics to inform their new website. Beyond wave photography, I highlighted the cultural dimensions of surfing in Bali, where traditions and rituals shape the rhythm of the sport. This project deepened my expertise in sports media, cultural storytelling, and brand-focused photography, blending visual narratives with research to showcase what makes Bali a cornerstone of global surf culture.
