Alyssa is a photojournalist from San Francisco, now in her senior year at the University of Michigan’s Stamps School of Art & Design. She serves as Senior Photo Editor at The Michigan Daily, leading a staff of visual journalists who cover the pulse of campus and the culture around it. She also works as a camera operator for Big Ten Network Student U and freelances for athletes and sports teams across Michigan. In 2024, she worked as a surf photographer in Bali with Soleia Surf Academy. Her work sits at the intersection of sport and culture, driven by the quiet rituals, loyalty, and identity that form around competition. She combines photography, writing, and design to build narrative depth in fast-moving environments. Alyssa is available for freelance assignments and is pursuing full-time roles in photojournalism, creative operations, or visual asset management after her graduation in May 2026.
